DEER Healthcare was born from lived experience — not a boardroom strategy. Our founder is a Doctor of Pharmacy who grew up witnessing his father spend over 15 years working across Africa's pharmaceutical markets. Year after year, the same reality repeated itself: good medicines existed, but they never reliably reached the people who needed them most.
The gap was not one of science or manufacturing — India had long mastered both. It was a gap of connection, trust, and committed supply. No one was building a bridge that was designed to last, built on relationships rather than spot transactions, and priced with the patient — not the profit — at the centre.
We are not entering this space as traders chasing margins. We enter it as health advocates who understand both sides of the bridge — the science, the regulation, the supply chain, and most importantly, the human cost of inaccessibility.
